The Dixieland Jazz Music

The Leningrad Dixieland Jazz Band is one of the oldest jazz bands in Europe. Since it was formed in the late 1950's, it has deserved a reputation of a group of very talented and hard-working musicians. The band is well-known among jazz lovers both in Europe and America and gathers crowds for its every performance as it continues touring around the world since late 60's. The Leningrad Dixielad Jazz Band also performs in its native city - Saint-Petersburg (former Leningrad) - at their own "Jazz Philharmonic Hall." This universally popular group has followed with several equally successful tours including repeated performances on "The Tonight Show" and at the Sacramento Jazz Jubilee, and continues to spread goodwill with numerous first time appearances worldwide. Their music has brought many friends and new fans everywhere to their feet.
